TEL AVIV / REHOVOT / BEIT GUVRIN / JERUSALEM

Breakfast at the hotel. Today´s tour start at the Beith Hatfutsot, Nahum Goldman Museum of the Jewish Diaspora. From there, towards Rehovot to visit the “Ayalon Institute”, where the armament destined for the War of Independence was manufactured in 1948.

Arrival at the Weizman Institute of Sciences to visit the mausoleum of Dr. Haim Weitzman. Via Iavne, place of the First Sanhedrin in the 2nd Century (AD) and where Raban Gamliel is buried. Along the coastal road you continue towards Ashdod to visit the city and the port. By Kyriat Gat to Beit Guvrin, national park with ancient caves. From there we continue to Jerusalem through the Judean Mountains. Overnight (B)

JERUSALEM / OLD CITY

Breakfast in the hotel.
Departure to the ancient city. Arrival at Mount Zion and visit the tomb of King David. Entering through the Gate of Sion, we will travel through the Jewish Quarter and arrive at the Western Wall. Via the Via Dolorosa, visit the Church of the Sepulcher. For the colorful and typical bazaars arrival at the Puerta de Jafo. Continue to Mount Herzl, where the founders of the State of Israel are buried. Visit to Ein Karen, a picturesque neighborhood on the outskirts of Jerusalem and the birthplace of John the Baptist.

JERUSALEM

Breakfast at the hotel.
Trip to Mount Scopus and the Mount of Olives; View of the magnificent city of Jerusalem and description of the most significant points. Tour of the new city: visit to the Book Sanctuary in the Israel Museum, where the manuscripts of the Dead Sea and the scale model of the city of Jerusalem in the time of Herod (period of the Second Temple) are exhibited.

View of the new building of the Parliament [Knesset], of the Menorah and of the Hebrew University. Yad Vashem is continued, memorial to the 6 million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust. Free afternoon or visit to Belen, passing through the Tomb of Rachel.

JORDAN VALLEY / BEITH SHEAN / GOLAN

Breakfast.
Departure from Jerusalem through the Jordan Valley, arrival in Beit Shean, one of the main cities of the Greek Decapolis. 

Visit the theater and the reconstructed city. From there to Yardenit, southern point of encounter between the Jordan River and the Sea of Galilee. The trip continues to the Golan Heights.
View to the ruins of the Syrian city of Kuneitra. Ascent to Mount Bental for a wonderful panoramic view. It goes back through Druze villages and Banias. Overnight (B)

SAFED / NAZARETH / TIBERIAS

Breakfast. Visit to the Kibbutz and exit via Rosh Pina towards Safed, city of the Cabala, of mystical streets and esoteric aura.
Entrance to ancient synagogues. We continue to Nazareth where Muslims, Christians and Jews live together. Visit to the Church of the Annunciation. From there to the Capernaum, former synagogue of the Second Temple Era. Later visit Tabgah, to end the day touring the city of Tiberias, one of the four holy cities of Judaism. Visit to the tomb of Maimonides.

HAIFA / CESAREA / TEL AVIV

Breakfast. Departure to Rosh Hanikra. Descent by cableway to the impressive caves designed by marine erosion. Short visit to the walls of the city of Aco, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Arrival in the city of Haifa: view of the Bahai Temple and its imposing Persian gardens and the Technion (Israeli Institute of Technology). Departure to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater and the Crusader Fort. Continue to Tel Aviv by the coastal route.
Brief visit of Jafo and Tel Aviv. Arrival at the hotel.
