Peru to Host the 128th Session of the UN Tourism Executive Council

Spring began on September 23th and with it we cannot fail to mention that in our country we have our iconic region known as the city of eternal spring, La Libertad region, capital Trujillo.
To celebrate the arrival of spring in the region, various activities are carried out and in the same way there are different attractions that you can´t miss while visiting Trujillo.
- Chan Chan: The citadel and ruins of Chan Chan are located in the Moche Valley, facing the sea, halfway between the resort of Huanchaco and the city of Trujillo. It is the largest adobe-built city in America. The complex consists of nine walled citadels, among which the Nik An walled complex stands out, most of which the illustrations it possesses are related to water and sea, fish as well as pelicans.
- El Brujo archaeological complex: It is one of the most important on the north coast of our country, located 60 km north of the city of Trujillo. In such an important archaeological complex was found the tomb and the mummified body of the ruling Moche the Lady of Cao.
- Huanchaco: The historic seaside resort located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean is part of the Moche Route during the time of the Moche and Chimú cultures; Huanchaco was an important Port for the region. It is famous for its peculiar totora horses that are used from the time of the Mochica and Chimu until today by local people for navigation and fishing.
- Northern Gastronomy: Our country is known worldwide for gastronomy and the city of Trujillo is no exception, the region has a rich and varied typical food such as the northern ceviche that is served with cassava and zarandaja. In addition, the delicious Cabrito with beans, the popular Shambar that is a delicious wheat soup with pork, smoked ham and stew (as a limit is a popular dish that is only served on Mondays).
