The superfood of lucuma during the first 5 months of the year exported the amount of 82,425 kilos of lucuma flour with an FOB value of US $ 717,717. The figures reveal a considerable increase of 75,450 kilograms exported abroad for the same period in 2018.
According to reports from the Agrodata Peru portal, the main country that received exports between January and May 2019 was the United States, where placements were made for US $ 250,261 (35% of the total). Next, United Kingdom with US $ 195,211, Germany with US $ 120,893, the Netherlands with US $ 45,868, Spain with US $ 38,652 and New Zealand with US $ 11,598, as well as others with lower amounts.
