Peru was included in the Top 20 Countries in the World: Readers´ choice Awards 2019 by the prestigious magazine Conde Nast Traveler. Ranked in sixth place with a score of 91.28, above countries like Mexico and Colombia.
In statements by the President of PromPeru, Luis Torres:
“These awards motivate us to continue working for the development and professionalization of the Tourism sector, providing quality, formality and safe services to more than 4.4 million travelers who visit us every year.”
“Having satisfied tourists is synonymous of incomes for our country, and benefit for all Peruvians.”
On the other hand, within the Top 30 ranking of hotels in South America, the brand that won first and second place was Aranwa, and in other positions we have the Country Club Hotel, Sumaq Machu Picchu, Inkaterra la Casona, Belmond Hotel Monasterio and others
