
Peru will lead agro-exports in nine products in 2023

During 2018, the list of most visited natural areas in Peru was led by Las Islas Ballestas, located in the southern region of Ica with an average of 500,000 visitors, both national and foreign.
This protected natural area is part of the National Reserve System of Guano Island, Islets and Capes of Peru (RNSIIPG), which is administered by Sernanp.
On the other hand, the Paracas National Reserve, also located in the city of Ica, occupies the second position and during 2018 it received 427, 013 visits. It should be noted that Paracas is a popular destination for residents of Lima to spend holidays.
The area that follows within the list is the Huascarán National Park with a total of 378,440 visits that is located in the northern region of Ancash, with the arrival of tourists interested in the mountain range and other sports the season begins high in the month of May.
We take a turn and head towards the Puno region with the Titicaca National Reserve, which occupies the fourth place with 146,619 tourists. This area has Lake Titicaca that stands out as the highest navigable lake in the world. And in the fifth position we have the historic Sanctuary Pampa de Ayacucho or Pampa de Quinua located in the province of Huamanga that obtained 121,164 tourists.
In the sixth position, we have the Tingo María National Park in the Huanuco region with a total of 107,287 visits followed by the Lachay National Reserve (Lima region) with 70,008, the Tambopata National Reserve (Madre de Dios region) with 64,369, the Pantanos of Villa Wildlife Refuge (Lima region) with 43,322, and the Huayllay National Sanctuary (Pasco region) with 30,347.
