
Peru to Host the 128th Session of the UN Tourism Executive Council
Peru’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism announced that the country will host the 128th Session of the UN Tourism Executive Council
World Tourism Day is celebrated every September 27.
Declared by the World Tourism Organization in 1980, its main objective is to promote internationally the importance of tourism, due to its social, cultural, political and economic aspects. In addition, the main objective is to promote universal accessibility for all people, whether they are senior citizens, young people, children, as well as people with disabilities, so that they can enjoy the pleasure of traveling.
Peru is a mega diverse country that offers unforgettable experiences to anyone who dares to visit it. Ancient cultures of the Coast, Sierra and Jungle that range from imposing archaeological complexes such as Chan Chan, national parks to one of the wonders of the World, the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu as well as other places that if we named them we would have an endless list.
