RIO JANEIRO

Breakfast at hotel.
From many places in the city, the visitor can see the most beautiful postcard of Rio de Janeiro since 1931: Christ the Redeemer statue located at Corcovado mountain, 710 meters above the sea level. This tour begins at Cosme Velho neighborhood, from where the cog train starts the trip up to the statue, through the Tijuca Forest. Once there, a panoramic and extraordinary view of Rio will be seeing including the Sugar Loaf, the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Southern Zone and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. Return to the hotel.

RIO JANEIRO

Breakfast at hotel.
Participants will be taken to the neighborhood of Urca, where Sugar Loaf is located. The visit is made in two steps by cable car. The first one takes passengers to Urca Hill which is 215 meters high, with a beautiful view of the Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói bridge and Corcovado hill. From this stage, a second cable car will go up to the top of the mountain, with 395 meters high and a splendid view from Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress and some beaches of Niterói. Return to the hotel.

RIO DE JANEIRO – IGUAZU FALLS

Breakfast at hotel.
Transfer to the airport to board your flight to Foz Iguazu. (Flight is not included). Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel.
Inside the Iguazu National Park it is located one of the most beautiful postcards of the world. The Waterfalls were chosen as one of the natural wonders of the world, it has 275 falls on an average flow of 1.400 cubic meters of water per second. Arriving at the Park, the first stop is at the Visitors Center, with a modern infrastructure, then the transportation is made in panoramic buses or private vehicles, in a 12 km path, providing a nice view of the local fauna and flora. Then the tour by foot starts, in a stepway of 1200 meters. During this walking it is possible to see several species of animals, especially coatis (considered the symbol of the park).

At the end of the tour, the visitors can contemplate a very nice view of the Iguasu River at the top of the falls, where is located the Porto Canoas Restaurant – a panoramic restaurant with brazilian food buffet (not included).

IGUAZU FALLS

The visits at the Brazilian and Argentinian side are completely different, so we suggest the visitors to take both tours for a total appreciation of the Falls. Arriving at the park, the first stop is at the Visitors Center, with an excellent infrastructure, then the transportation is made in ecological trains that take visitors to a very pleasant trip inside the forest, where many species of fauna and flora can be seen. The first stop is at the Cataratas Station and the tour is divided in two options: Superior and Inferior Circuit. The next path is the Devil’s Throat Station, the most beautiful and impressive fall of the Iguassu Falls. This contemplation is made of the top of Iguaçu River, about 1100 meters walking to appreciate its magnitude.

The tour can be done in two ways:
Full Day Tour:
including both Upper and Lower Circuits, also the Devil´s Throat
Half Day Tour: including the Upper Circuit and the Devil´s Throat

It is mandatory to carry your Passport to cross the Argentinian boarder. Some nationalities need a Visa to go to Argentina.

Pick up from the hotel to start a City Tour Lima Colonial and Modern. Including The Market Square where the Government Palace is located, the Cathedral, and the Municipal Palace, visit the church San Francisco Catacombs. Continue to visit the residential and modern area with its districts of San Isidro and Miraflores culminating with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean.
Rest of afternoon at leisure.

In the morning you will start your gastronomic tour. Peruvian cuisine is receiving worldwide recognition and Cala restaurant has a special place in the local gastronomic field. At this lovely restaurant, which boasts a priviledged location right on the shore of the Pacific Ocean, you will delight in the culinary pleasures Peru has to offer and you will learn to prepare the famous Pisco Sour and our celebrated cebiche. Then, you will be able to enjoy an exquisite beachfront gourmet lunch. Our tour includes a visit to a traditional Peruvian market where you will appreciate the natural produce and ingredients that have made our food famous. Includes a chef´s apron and an official certificate. Return to the hotel.

LIMA – CUSCO

Breakfast in the hotel.
At the pre – advised time we will head out to the airport to board the plane bound Cusco. Upon arrival you’ll be greeted and taken in private transport to your hotel. Rest of morning at leisure to acclimatize to the altitude.
In the afternoon pick up for your City Tour Cusco where you will visit The Cathedral, Qoricancha (Sun Temple) and the 4 nearby ruins, Qenqo, (ceremonial and ritual center, place where sacrifices were made), Puca Pucara (this complex was probably used by Emperor Pachacutec as a tambo), Tambomachay (also called “The Bath of the Inca”) and Sacsayhuaman Fortress. Return to the hotel. Overnight. (B)

CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY – CUSCO

Breakfast in the hotel.
Full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Departure by bus to Awanacancha, a place where we will appreciate the beauty of the Peruvian Andes with its South American camels and derivatives gotten thanks to the majestic, traditional and modern technique (dyeing, spinning, weaving process) including used materials and live weaving by the people of the Peruvian Andes. Also, we will visit the famous Indian market of Pisac, a delightful place where we will bargain for the goodies with the local street vendors.
Buffet lunch in a local restaurant.
Then, visit the majestic fortress of Ollantaytambo. Return to Cusco and visit Chincheros village, arrival to the hotel.

CUSCO – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

Breakfast at hotel.
Full day excursion to Machu Picchu.
Very early transfer to Ollanta train station which takes 1 hours and half to the famous Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu, chosen as one of the new 7 wonders of the world and one of the best known examples of surviving Inca architecture. Arrive at Aguas Calientes Station followed by a 30-minute bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the marvelous Citadel. Upon arrival, you will participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the sacred sun dial (the most important preserved Intihuatana), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. After the tour you’ll have time to stroll around the Archaeological Site at your leisure.
Lunch at a local restaurant and a late afternoon return to Ollantaytambo by train. After, private transfer to Cusco city.
