LIMA – CARAL – BARRANCA (TOTAL KMS LIMA – BARRANCA 192 KMS)
Breakfast.
07:00 hrs departure in 4×4 heading out on the northern Panamerican Highway to visit the Sacred City of Caral, the Oldest City in America. Continued, we visit the Fortress of Paramonga; archaeological site belonging to the Chimu culture which later was occupied by the Inca Cacique. Return to Barranca, a small city that lives on trade. Overnight. (B)

BARRANCA – CHAVIN DE HUANTAR – HUARAZ (BARRANCA – HUARAZ TOTAL 216 KMS)
Breakfast.
Departure to visit the Archaeological City of Chavín de Huántar. Belonging to the pre-Incan Chavin culture. In the western facade of the temple, Stone carved heads were nailed; simulating monstrous looking sculptures are excellent examples of lithic art of the Chavin Culture. In one of its interior galleries is the famous (Lanzón) Monolith, of 4.53 m. high. The archaeological site of Chavín was declared a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1985. We will also make a brief visit to the local Museum. Transfer to Huaraz city.

HUARAZ – LLANGANUCO – YUNGAY – HUARAZ
Breakfast.
Departure to visit the Llanganuco lagoons, turquoise lagoons which are famous in Peru and the world, located 84 kilometres northeast of Huaraz in the Huascaran National Park. Then we continue our visit to the ancient city Yungay buried by the quake and mudslide on 1970. Now a World Heritage Site. Return to the hotel and overnight. (B)

HUARAZ – CASMA – SECHIN – TRUJILLO (TOTAL KMS HUARAZ – TRUJILLO 312 KMS)
Breakfast in the hotel.
Departure to visit the archaeological complex of Sechin is one of the most important archaeological monuments of Peru, because of their age and architectural beauty. Corresponds to the Formative period, 1800-200 BC. It was discovered in 1937 by archaeologist Julio César Tello.
At the site also visit the Museum of Max Uhle site, which showcases the most important pieces obtained from the archaeological excavations and provides an overview of the history of the town of Casma. On route we will visit the city of eternal sunshine “Casma” then transfer to the city of Trujillo, also called “City of Eternal Spring”. Arrival at Trujillo check inn at the hotel.

TRUJILLO
Breakfast in the hotel.
Early departure to visit the Huaca Arco Iris or Dragon, which belong to the archaeological tourism circuit of Chan Chan. Continue to visit the largest mud city in northern Peruvian city of Chan Chan, Nikan or Tschudi Palace and its museum. Finally, we visit the Temples of the Sun and the Moon which were constructed by the Moche culture (500 years before Christ). It is said that these pyramids 130 feet tall, are the largest adobe construction on the American continent.
Return to the hotel. Overnight. (B)

TRUJILLO – CHICLAYO (TOTAL KMS TRUJILLO – CHICLAYO 204 KMS)
Breakfast. Early transfer to the city of Chiclayo, on route we will visit the Archaeological Museum of La Señora de Cao which is one of the most important ancient archaeological sites of the northern coast of Peru. It is located in the Chicama River Valley; this complex is a ceremonial center where you can see the legacy of 5,000 years of occupation. We will also make a brief visit to the local Museum of the site. Then we continue our journey to the Colonial City of Zaña and finally visit the Huaca Rajada Complex, this archaeological complex is the repository of many burial chambers, where they found the remains of the Moche Lords.
The set is made up of two pyramids joined by a platform, where there was much evidence of gold, many pieces of its skeleton covered was covered by golden objects: a breastplate, bracelets and the sceptre of command, in addition to clothing also jewellery. Arrival at the hotel in Chiclayo. Overnight. (B)

CHICLAYO
Breakfast at hotel.
Early departure to visit the Historic Sanctuary “Bosque de Pomac”, in this place are preserved forest species typical of dry forest and 36 pyramids of the Moche Culture then visit the interpretation centre. Then continue to Lambayeque to visit the Sicán Museum, Pyramids and the Museum of Túcume, Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum. Return to Chiclayo. Overnight. (B)

CHICLAYO – CHACHAPOYAS (TOTAL KMS CHICLAYO – CHACHAPOYAS 435 KMS)
Breakfast.
At fixed time departure from Chiclayo in 4×4 units with direction to Chachapoyas, taking the road Fernando Belaunde Terry. We will pass by Motupe, Olmos, Pedro Ruiz and Cocachimba cities and all the microclimates as well as its geographical contrasts. After 7 hours journey we arrive to this beautiful city. Check in at the hotel. Overnight. (B, BXL)

CHACHAPOYAS – KUELAP – CHACHAPOYAS
After breakfast, we go towards the Fortress of Kuelap in our private transportation. We will have a cableway tour with fantastic views of the steep Andean mountains. Lunch included in the surrounding area. Excursion to the fortress of Kuelap, a spectacular city with pre-inca walls, hidden between mountains.
Even though Kuelap was found 60 years before Machu Picchu it is not as well known. Although through recent discoveries and its history, it has captured the attention of archaeologists and many people around the world. Return by cableway to the station. Transfer to the city of Chachapoyas. Overnight. (B)

CHACHAPOYAS – GOCTA WATERFALL – CHACHAPOYAS
Breakfast at hotel.
4×4 departure to the town of Cocachimba. Arrival and registration of passengers at the ticket office. You start the hike (02:30 Hrs) to reach the waterfall of Gocta and admire its unique beauty, take pictures and / or take a bath (optional since the water temperature is 8°C). Return to the town of Cocachimba for lunch in a local restaurant. Lunch. Return to Chachapoyas.
