Lima strengthens its tourism positioning with the “Vive Lima” Strategy
Promperú continues to promote initiatives to strengthen and revitalize the capital’s image as a modern, diverse urban tourist destination full of experiences.
As part of the “Vive Lima” initiative, the goal is to showcase a refreshed image of Lima and ensure that travelers experience the country’s identity from the moment they arrive.
The campaign invites visitors to discover the city from a different perspective, highlighting its cuisine, cultural richness, art, public spaces, and the daily life of its neighborhoods, encouraging them to explore a city that goes beyond its traditional attractions.
As part of this strategy, Promperú will also strengthen the presence of the “Marca Perú” brand at the country’s main airports. The goal is for visitors to have their first encounter with Peruvian identity upon arrival and for their travel experience to begin with a coherent and representative image of the destination.
Both initiatives are part of a strategy aimed at improving the tourist experience and strengthening the promotion of Peruvian destinations. Likewise, the presence of the “Marca Perú” brand at major airports will help convey a more solid and consistent image of the country from the very start of the trip.
Through these actions, PROMPERÚ reaffirms its commitment to developing tourism and enhancing the visitor experience by promoting authentic experiences and strengthening Peru’s competitiveness as one of the region’s leading destinations, while also helping to consolidate Peru’s image in both domestic and international markets.
