Main Properties of Coffee and Its benefits

Coffee, the plant is currently grown in tropical and subtropical countries. Coffee beans are one of the main products of agricultural origin. However, we consume it but it brings us to our mind and body.

  • Memory: Coffee helps us preserve memory, since it is a food rich in potassium, magnesium and fluoride. With regard to potassium, this is used to regulate the water balance in our body and is also an essential nutrient for proper muscle contraction and cardiac function.
  • Physical and mental performance: It increases our alertness and mental performance due to the caffeine that acts on our central nervous system.
  • High degree of antioxidants: Oxygen, an essential element for our life, once it enters the bloodstream begins to interact with various tissues, resulting in the formation of highly reactive and unstable molecules, called free radicals, capable of seriously damaging the cells and cause, in the long term, alterations in the whole organism.
  • Blood clots: Several studies indicate that moderate coffee intake helps prevent blood clots from forming. Clots are the cause of stroke and heart attacks. It is said that coffee helps to effectively remove excess fat accumulated in the arteries.
  • Blood vessels: Coffee activates blood pressure, which cleanses blood vessels. Therefore, the arteries expand, so the blood circulates better.
