
Machu Picchu leads Peru’s tourism in the first two months of 2025
Machu Picchu continues to consolidate as the main tourist destination in Peru, registering more than 190,000 visitors in the first two months of 2025
In a report, the Association of Exporters (ADEX) announced that during the months of January to May pisco exports reached US $ 2,477,000, which indicates an increase of 18.8% over the same period last year.
ADEX reported that the main destination of pisco between January and May was the United States (US $ 1,248,000), concentrating 50.4% of the total dispatched. The North American country increased its demand by 44.6% over the previous year.
Second in the ranking is Spain (US $ 240,005), despite having a drop of -47.5% compared to a similar period of 2018. It was also exported to Ecuador, the Netherlands, Colombia, United Kingdom, France and Australia, among others.
Among the companies that exported the most is Destilería La Caravedo S.R.L., Bodega San Isidro S.A.C., Bodegas y Viñedos Tabernero S.A.C., Bodega San Nicolás S.A., Santiago Queirolo S.A.C., Viña Ocucaje S.A., among others.
